Our Mission
Penku Jant is a holistic education and care hub for women, single mothers, and their children in the Casamance region of Senegal. Our mission is to overcome social inequality, empower women, and create sustainable development opportunities for children.
Our startin Point:
Many women in Casamance face enormous challenges:
- Lack of access to education and employment opportunities
- Economic dependency and precarious living conditions
- Insufficient social security systems
- Lack of childcare options
These factors hinder personal development, social participation, and access to economic independence. Penku Jant addresses these issues with an integrated approach that combines education, childcare, psychosocial support, and empowerment.
Our Approach
